Vitamin K is probably one of the most underrated vitamins. It is important for the preservation of our bones and essential for normal blood clotting. Vitamin K has two natural forms: Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) and Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone). Vitamin K1 is mainly contained in green vegetables, (e.g. spinach, cabbage) while vitamin K2 is contained in, e.g. sauerkraut, liver, butter, egg yolks and fermented soybeans (“natto”). It is believed that our gut bacteria convert vitamin K1 into vitamin K2. However, this conversion process is very often not given, e.g. when the intestinal flora is not intact. Then, even with sufficient vitamin k1 absorption, the more active form of vitamin K, namely vitamin K2, cannot be formed. Our vitamin K2 oil offers you a quick and easy alternative to take vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin and can, therefore, be ideally absorbed by the body in combination with fat/oil. Our vitamin K2 is, therefore, already dissolved in high-quality, GMO-free corn oil.
We use the highest quality Vitamin K2 (MK-7 Menaquinone) with a very high bioavailability.
Ideal dosage form with 20 µg per drop. Also, very economical/long lasting - with more than 1350 drops per 50 ml.
Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin therefore, the human body can only absorb Vitamin K in combination with oils. Our Vitamin K2 is combined with corn oil and therefore, ideal for absorption. Studies show that Vitamin K oil drops are more effective than tablets or capsules with the same Vitamin K dosage. Our Vitamin K2 derives naturally from a biofermentation process of Bacillus subtilis ssp natto cultures.
Our Vitamin K2 is >99% Menaquinone 7 which is a very important quality characteristic.
Other Vitamin K2 suppliers often use the inferior Vitamin K2 (Phylloquinone).
Often less µg per drop and sometimes also worded so it deceives the consumer e.g. labelling „100µg“, although this amount refers to the K2 contained in 3 or more drops, not per single drop.
Often Vitamin K products come in capsule or tablet form and therefore, they are less effective. Capsules and tablets also often contain unnecessary additives and are unsuitable for people who do not want to swallow capsule shells.
Very often synthetic Vitamin K and therefore, no comparison.
Other suppliers very often do not have this all-trans Menaquinone 7 quality characteristic
This is the list of Vitamin K health claims which may be made on foods containing Vitamin K, as referred to in Article 13(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006.
